Ray Mahaffey was born in Houston, Texas. He is married to his wife of 26 years, Melanie Anne (Poquette) Mahaffey. Ray and Melanie make their home in Quitman, Texas. Ray and Melanie have 2 sons, Matthew and Justin. Matthew is currently attending the University of Iowa finishing up his Doctorate in Music Performance, and Justin currently has almost 2 years towards his double masters in Apologetics and Theology.
